My mom, sister, sister-in-law, and I went out for a great afternoon at Rose's. However, I forgot to take a picture there, so we had Alena take one of us when we got back to my house.
Morning goodness (an especial necessity these days with Nora still waking up often at night) in my favorite mug. Has it really been almost a decade since I bought that mug in England?
After a two-parent work day, this dinnertime was especially fun and such a joy. Apparently, we were superheroes this evening. I was "Super Mommy," Reuben was "Super Daddy," and soon we hyped it up more by shouting and cheering "Super Sportels!"
Although it was far colder than we had anticipated, we did enjoy a Saturday morning walk to our local Sweet Mellisa's for some fall cider and donuts with our good friends!
Alena and I have developed a special little routine. Whenever I go for a run, I come get her when I'm done and she walks with me for my cool down. She loves this little metal dog outside our neighbors' house and always has to "go see the doggie" at the beginning of our walk. :)
Alena has a fetish with these wearing these hat and mittens inside the house lately... tonight she thought bedtime would be a good time to wear them. Silly girl!
I'm one blessed birthday woman! It was a perfectly beautiful morning to enjoy ArtPrize with my mom and my precious girls! In the evening when Reuben was home, our family went down to Reeds Lake and enjoyed some Rose's Express in the park. It was a great day. More importantly, at 30 years old, I just feel so humbled by God's blessings in my life!
